**How will you make an impact?**

The primary objective of this role is to support the lead qualification and nurture team and sales account managers by generating more potential customers through contacting customers, planning product sales and ensuring that customer's needs are met.

**What will you do?**
- Become proficient in finding sales opportunities for Biosciences Division (BID) product portfolios
- Understand customer categories, ensure growth opportunities and coordinate with lead qualification/nurture and sales team members
- Provide an outstanding customer experience by using various communication methods to interact with customers
- Develop strategic techniques to prioritize customer engagement
- Provide a high level of customer service excellence to assist customers in the target accounts
- Triage sales leads and ensure the customer is directed to the appropriate selling resource
- Facilitate the information flow between customers, lead generation/nurture specialists, sales reps/ account managers, product managers, customer service and technical services
- Offer pre-set quotes or send the customer to the appropriate selling resource
- Assist in facilitating the pricing agreement renewal process where applicable
- Liaise with internal resources to respond to RFP/RFQs
- Review Data Science-generated leads and engage the Marketing and Sales teams to support action on these leads
- Coordinate with channel partners

**How will you get here?**

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science preferred with related lab experience

**Experience**
- Requires a minimum of 1+ years' related work experience (i.e. - customer services, telephone experience)

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills
- Highly motivated, results oriented and self sufficient to meet target goals
- Demonstrates a professional rapport with customers and co-workers
- General knowledge of assigned product portfolio and/or customer segment
- Ability to function effectively in a high-performance team
- Ability to work in fast pace environment and to prioritize workload
- Practical understanding of the sales process & buying cycle
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office packages
- Knowledge of web tools and analytics
- Minimal travel may be required (up to 5%)
