Hardware Technician, Operations

We are currently looking for a full-time Hardware Technician, Operations to join our team in Richmond, British Columbia.
Reporting to the Operations Hardware Manager, the Hardware Technician, Operations’ primary role is to successfully perform preparation work on a large range of hardware and cabling.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform successful repetitive preparation work on a large range of hardware and cabling
- Prepare and configure networking equipment
- Test, troubleshoot and repair customer equipment
- Document preparation procedures and any configuration requirements
- Review and contribute to process improvements
- Ad-hoc tasks requested by manager pending business needs
Experience and Knowledge
- 1+ years of experience in hardware or relevant role is desired
- Qualification in radio or electronics is desired or practical experience to an equivalent level
- Knowledge of Windows OS computers (XPe, XP, Win7, and Win10 IoT operating systems)
- Knowledge of electronic fault finding
- Solid technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Precise attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organization skills
- Strong ability to work effectively both in a team environment and as an independent contributor
Starting salary of $50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
