**Position overview**:
The **Repair Technician** will be responsible for providing support for a wide range of technical issues. Performing troubleshooting and repairs related to hardware, operating systems and other electrical items.

**Responsibilities**:

- Resolving technical issues with PCs, laptops and servers
- Conducting board-level repairs and proficiently executing soldering tasks.
- Diagnosing and repairing both hardware and software malfunctions as well as the maintenance of computer systems
- Installation of software
- Replacing hardware components, hardware configurations, troubleshooting network
- Repairing defective products such as laptops, desktops etc.
- Conducting product testing
- Installing upgrades on products
- Other duties as assigned

**Key Competencies**:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of computer parts and accessories
- Excellent working knowledge of:

- Microsoft operating systems
- PC Hardware
- Common peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, internet routers and etc.
- TCP/IP networking
- Internet technologies

**Job Specifications**:

- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- A+ certification preferred
- Knowledge in various diagnostic tools

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Electronics repair: 3 years (preferred)
