**The Opportunity**:
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
In collaboration with the Volunteer Sr. Coordinator and program staff, provide primary support to volunteers at Wychwood Open Door, Urban Agriculture program sites, Farmers’ Market and at the 1884 Davenport Rd. Locations.

**Intake and Recruitment Support**
- Attend and co-facilitate volunteer information sessions with the Senior Volunteer Coordinator.
- In collaboration with the Senior Volunteer Coordinator, ensure that the volunteer job description and handbook are up-to-date and shared on appropriate platforms.
- Provide logístical and administrative support at multiple sites for the volunteer information sessions and required trainings - e.g., Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression training.

**Volunteer** Management: Scheduling**/Data Management**
- Ensure that the screening of prospective and existing volunteers is completed in a timely manner and properly documented in volunteer files and database.
- Maintain up-to-date volunteers’ information in our data base.
- Develop volunteer schedules for multiple sites and respond to queries on scheduling.
- Volunteer management at The Stop’s satellite locations: Wychwood Open Door, Urban Agriculture programs, the Farmers Market.
- Add new volunteer’s information, log volunteer hours and absences into the Volgistics software/database.
- Maintain volunteer files in filing cabinet up-to-date and organized.
- Assist on the recruitment and onsite management/support of special event volunteers.
- Any other administrative duties as needed.

**Evaluation & Planning**
- Help administer the Annual General Survey, pre-and post-training evaluation forms, and Exit Surveys for the Volunteer Program.
- Assist in the preparation of a yearly work plan and budget development.
- Assist in the collection of quarterly data for monitoring Volunteer program outputs on an as needed basis.
- Attend all-staff, and coordinators’ meetings.
- Attend required staff trainings (i.e., AR/AO, CPR, et cetera).
- Any other administrative duties as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience, preferably in volunteer management.
- Demonstrated front line experience working with marginalized people and people of diverse identities, intersectionalities, and abilities (including people living with mental health challenges and addictions/substance abuse, and unhoused people) in a community services setting.
- Solid team building and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
- Volunteer management software/database experience an asset.
- Adept at communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including staff, community members, volunteers, donors and supporters.
- Knowledge of and experience with food security issues and programs is an asset.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification, First Aid certification, and training in trauma-informed care are assets.
- Second language (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese) and knowledge of the St. Clair West community are assets.
