One of our manufacturing clients in **Ancaster**, ON** **is looking** **for a** Program Manager s**for their facility.
**Shift**:
- Days
**Responsibilities**:
Assuming a leadership role in driving overall improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for assembly lines and cells.
Leading continuous improvement projects and identifying the root causes of production issues.
Guiding regular Product Focus meetings and meetings focused on scrap and First
Time Through (FTT), overseeing action items and coordinating necessary actions across various departments.
Ensuring that production cells operate efficiently, incorporating error-proofing measures and quality control systems to maintain a world-class level of productquality.
Collaborating closely with Manufacturing Systems Technicians and production operators to resolve operational challenges.
Enhancing key indicators of cell quality and productivity, including reducing scrap, increasing throughput, optimizing cycle time, and minimizing tool costs.
Additionally, improving process control systems through the implementation of setup instructions, parameter sheets, and checklists.
Working with functional managers to establish and implement systems based on cell operations, ensuring long-term satisfaction of customers, employees, and shareholders.
Developing Statements of Requirements (SORs) for manufacturing equipment and assembly lines, including capacity planning in alignment with customer specifications.
Overseeing the validation and integration of cell-based manufacturing equipment in collaboration with the advanced manufacturing group, aligning with the specified SOR.
This includes verifying capacity in accordance with customer requirements.
Collaborating closely with Program Management, Engineering personnel, and operational teams to ensure a smooth product launch and well-documented
Advanced Quality Planning (AQP).
Standardized Work, and equipment-related documents (lock-out/tag-out, startup/shutdown, etc.).
Performing any other tasks as assigned by the manager or required by the organization.
Coordinating initiatives for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications**:
Possession of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Applied Science, or a suitable combination of related education and experience.
Experience in manufacturing and familiarity with automotive quality requirements, including Quality and Environmental Standards.
Demonstrating excellent communication, negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
Capable of communicating effectively, both in writing and verbally, with individuals at all levels of the organization.
