**Job Description Summary**: Le responsable EHS des projets et des services est chargé de fournir un soutien EHS quotidien pour les activités du site (service et grands projets) dans toutes les centrales hydroélectriques du Canada.

The EHS Manager for Projects and Services is responsible for Providing day-to-day EHS support for site activities (service and large project work) across all Hydro in Canada.

**Key responsibilities/essential functions include**:
**Vous aurez les responsabilités suivantes**:

- Développer de solides relations de travail avec les chefs d'exploitation et de projet de la région pour promouvoir la culture EHS attendue dans toutes les opérations.
- Agir en tant que liaison de support pour tous les sites en aidant à se conformer aux exigences réglementaires. Veiller à ce que toutes les opérations soient effectuées conformément aux exigences réglementaires et GE applicables. Comprendre les exigences contractuelles EHS.
- Mener des audits conformément au plan d'audit de l'entreprise, avec rigueur et cohérence, pour identifier les déficiences et conduire des améliorations dans la gestion de l'EHS.
- Gérer la banque de données de fiches de données de sécurité pour les produits chimiques pour le Canada
- Effectuer des inspections régulières des sites et des méthodes de travail pour garantir que les règles et procédures de sécurité sont respectées, que l'équipement de protection est utilisé correctement et que tous les dispositifs nécessaires à la sécurité sont en place, utilisés de manière appropriée et soutiennent les politiques de l'entreprise.
- Soutenir l'entreprise dans l'amélioration continue des programmes EHS et de la manière dont ils sont mis en œuvre sur les sites.
- Identifier, soutenir l'embauche, puis gérer et développer le personnel EHS sur site pour les sites qui leur sont assignés.
- Examiner, analyser et évaluer l'efficacité des programmes existants et recommander les améliorations nécessaires. Aider la région à maintenir l’accréditation sur les sites attribués.
- Favoriser une utilisation accrue des programmes et des outils numériques sur les sites assignés, alignés sur Hydro Global.
- Effectuer des examens ITO et évaluer les exigences et les risques EHS, comme demandé pour aider l'entreprise à réussir à obtenir des commandes.
- Participer à l'évaluation des risques liés à la sécurité et à l'environnement au moment des appels d'offres et pendant les travaux
- Mener des enquêtes et des analyses de tous les accidents ou situations dangereuses. Identifier les tendances et les causes, ainsi que suivre les actions correctives et préventives
- Offrir une formation EHS à la population des sites assignés, selon les besoins.
- S'assurer que tous les rapports EHS internes et externes sont terminés à temps et avec précision.

You will have the following responsibilities:

- Develop strong working relationship with operational and project managers in the region to drive the expected EHS culture across all operations.
- Act as support liaison for all sites in helping comply with regulatory requirements. Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with applicable regulatory and GE requirements. Understand EHS contractual requirements.
- Conduct audits in line with the business audit plan, with rigor and consistency, to identify deficiencies and drive improvements in the management of EHS.
- Manage I chemistry Safety Data Sheet databank for Canada
- Conduct regular inspections of sites and working methods to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed, that protective equipment is used properly, and all devices necessary for safety are in place, used appropriately and support corporate policies
- Support the business in driving continuous improvement in EHS programs, and the way they are implemented across sites.
- Identify, support the hiring of, then manage and develop Site based EHS staffing for sites assigned to them.
- Review, analyze and evaluate effectiveness of existing programs and recommend necessary improvements. Support the region in maintaining accreditation across assigned sites.
- Drive increased use of Digital Programs and tools across assigned sites, aligned with Hydro Global.
- Conduct ITO reviews and assess EHS requirements and risks, as requested to support the business being successful in gaining orders.
- Participate in the evaluation of safety and environmental associated risks at the time of bidding and during work
- Conduct investigations and analysis of all accidents or hazardous situations. Identify trends and causes, as well as follow up on corrective and preventative actions
- Deliver EHS training to assigned sites population as required.
- Ensure all internal and external EHS reporting is completed on time and with accuracy
