**About the Role**

The Recruiter is responsible for a range of duties ensuring the HR department delivers best practices to support the business across Canada, the U.S., and other international sites. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the full cycle recruitment process to ensure the right talent is being hired. The Recruiter will build strong relationships with our multiple locations and internal departments.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work model, three days in office and two work-from-home days. During the summer months we have half day Fridays

**Job Requirements**
- Lead the full cycle recruitment process to identify the top talent for available positions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the various sites to actively identify current and prospective staffing requirements.
- Screen eligible applicants by reviewing their skills, qualifications, fit, and potential for growth.
- Complete all relevant background and reference checks.
- Ensure timely and effective communication to the hiring team and the applicants throughout the process.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct compensation analysis and recommendations, as necessary.
- Design and maintain an updated pay scale.
- Optimize the talent acquisition process.
- Stay up to date with relevant labour laws and trends to ensure that the recruitment process and postings comply with all legal requirements and the Company policies.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned based on the business needs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role.
- Familiarity with an applicant tracking system and other HR software.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of employment laws.
- Prior experience in an industrial setting is an asset.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
