**Job Description**:

- Human Resources Services (HRS) is an internal function providing global operations and business support across Brookfield’s lines of business.
- As part of the Equity Compensation Team, the Compensation Analyst, Equity Compensation is responsible for administration of executive equity compensation plans and the day-to-day relationship with our vendors (Shareworks, AST Trust Company (Canada) and AST Financial) across various Brookfield business units.
- The Compensation Analyst will work closely with Human Resources, tax, and Payroll & Accounting departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness with deliverables and customer service.
- Responsibilities
- This role is a key member of the team that administers the global executive equity compensation programs at Brookfield and will:

- Administer multiple plans for participants globally with equity in publicly-traded securities
- Manage audit and data verification processes for all equity compensation plans to ensure information is correct and maintained properly, at both the employee level and at the plan level
- Partner with stakeholders to validate the multi-jurisdictional tax withholdings on payroll-related transactions for a large and mobile executive team
- Create and reconcile various reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual cycle
- Conduct various analyses to support payroll validations, accounting inquiries and HR or executive ad hoc requests
- Manage day-to-day relationship with vendors to ensure a best-in-class experience for employees Run training and education sessions for first time users (administrators/participants) on the administration system
- Assist and collaborate in the planning, coordination, and reporting of the annual compensation cycle
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of Shareworks equity administration system nice to have
- Knowledge in equity compensation plans and related legislation, for both Canada and the US nice to have
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- University degree preferred (HR, Business Administration)
- Accounting background nice to have
