Strategic Development Coordinator

What You’ll Be Working On

Our internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.
- We are seeking students to join us for 4-8 month co-op positions starting in May 2024. This role can be based out of Calgary or Edmonton.

**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in creating and formatting strategic development documents, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.- Collaborate across various departments to gather information for strategic development proposals.- Coordinate the review process, ensuring timely feedback from stakeholders.- Conduct comprehensive market research for strategic development, gathering relevant information for proposal content.- Analyze client or organizational requirements, tailoring proposals to meet specific strategic needs.- Stay informed about industry trends in strategic development to enhance proposal competitiveness.- Maintain a comprehensive, accurate database of strategic development-related proposal content.- Organize and manage files related to proposals for easy retrieval and reference.-
- Communicate effectively with team members for smooth collaboration during the development of strategic development proposals.- Conduct thorough proofreading and editing of proposals to ensure they are error-free and meet stringent quality standards.- Assist in the development of templates and standard content specific to strategic development to streamline future proposal processes.

Who We Need On Our Team- You are currently enrolled in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related program.- You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher- Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships- Exemplify the Ideal Team Player - Hungry, Humble, Smart- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills- Sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude- Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries- If you are selected for a role with client specific requirements, you may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug testing.We Put Safety First
