GHY International has an exciting opportunity for the role of **Innovation Specialist **working out of our Head Office in Winnipeg, MB.

The Innovation Specialist will be responsible for Innovative Solutions for the business from development through implementation. This position will also identify opportunities for new solutions to be tested and implemented.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Business Intelligence software
EDI processes and solutions
- Communication across teams and with customers for set-up, testing and implementation of electronic solutions; working closely under the direction and guidance of the Director of Corporate Innovation to select which solution is best for each use and case
- Maintaining status of all innovation projects forecasted through to implementation
- Monitoring EDI solutions in a daily use and making adjustments if there are any changes in customers paperwork
- Troubleshooting EDI solutions in when there are issues with entries loading or a failed automated process
- Collaborate with Corporate Trainer to develop training material
- Evaluation of technology tools to increase efficiencies
- Meeting with Client Care, Production and Trade Services managers on a regularly scheduled basis to discuss issues with existing solutions and gathering intel for potential new solutions

**Your Qualifications**:

- Attention to detail

- Ability to self motivate and work independently
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- In depth knowledge of ITMR4
- General understanding of EDI standard
- Understanding of Outlook, Word
- Advanced knowledge of Invoice (entry) requirements
- Advanced knowledge of PGA;s and data elements required for entry

**Educational Requirements**:

- Completion of Grade 12 Education
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation

**Your Experience**:

- 3+ years of related experience
