Our client, Kent Imaging is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing Operations with extensive experience in the Medical Device Industry to lead our manufacturing operations and customer service in Calgary, Alberta - driving continuous improvement within our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations, production efficiency, quality and cost-effective manufacturing processes, and service delivery.
- Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and manufacturing associates to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
- Establish strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, quality, and supply chain to ensure effective collaboration across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company quality standards, including ISO, FDA, and other applicable regulations.
- Take initiative in identifying and managing risk within the manufacturing process, proactively implementing measures to mitigate risk and ensure seamless transitions between manufacturing phases.
- Implement best practices in continuous improvement such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance the organization's operational efficiency.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of customer support and service.
- Develops the organization's customer service strategy and manages the overall performance of people and processes to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with an P.Eng. (Alberta) license.
- At least 10 years of experience in Medical Device manufacturing and service operations and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with FDA regulations, ISO regulations, and other applicable manufacturing standards, with a proven track record of compliance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, deliver results, and inspire teams.
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other best practices in continuous improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $125,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
