McSween Custom Fabricating, Erecting, Welding Ltd. Is a Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, based multi-discipline industrial fabrication and construction company that has been serving the industrial plant community since 1980. Our expertise covers a broad range of industries, which include Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Cement, Mining, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Heavy Industrial, Light Industrial, and Power Generation.

McSween is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Billing Administrator.
- **Purpose**:_

The Billing Administrator ensures all costs have been assigned to jobs and all projects are accurately billed. This individual maintains project files and ensures all jobs in the system are current. This position also manages the accounts receivable ledger and the timely collection of outstanding customer balances.

The Billing Administrator will have experience in project and general accounting as well as accounts receivable and collections. This individual will have above average Excel skills and a good understanding of accounting. This position reports to the Controller.
- **Key Deliverables**:_

**Project Accounting**
- Monitor ongoing jobs and issue invoices according to project and customer requirements including
- Prepare, review, and distribute project cost reports
- Prepare customer invoices for quoted and T&M projects
- Management of all progress billings and related tracking sheets
- Creating customer specific Excel billing reports and gathering completed and signed documents to include with invoices as per customer requirements
- Ensuring all costs are captured for each job and customer invoices are billed accurately, completely and on a timely basis
- Issuing final invoices, closing of completed jobs in the system and ensuring project files are complete
- Entry of invoices into customer system as required
- Support time, equipment rental, purchase order and vendor invoice entry to ensure all costs have been assigned to jobs
- Preparation and entry of journal entries

**Accounts Receivable**
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances

**Other**
- Cross train with Accounts Payable and Time Entry for back up coverage
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Management
- **Experience and skills**:_
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Degree, Diploma or Professional Certification in Business Administration / accounting or equivalent
- Knowledge of SAP and Open Invoice is an asset
- Self-starter, detail oriented
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, planning, organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and efficiently respond to changing priorities
- Accepts coaching, knowledge, and support from others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior decision making and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
