Basic Purpose:

- To organize, prioritize, and ensure the coordination of the sample login department. Ensure that all jobs are entered get assigned for entry and are entered and approved the same day of their reception.

Key Accountability/Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and organize the daily functions of the sample login department;
- Lead the sample entry team to execute on key performance indicators;
- Organize the login team to meet objectives of entering all jobs received within the same day;
- Communicate with project managers any problems concerning samples received;
- Guide and train new personnel on login functions;
- Monitor departmental performance development;
- Monitor, control and improve the login processes;
- Communicate regularly with supervisor any concerns that may affect the productivity of sample entry;
- Ensure conformance and compliance of data entry into the maxxlims with regards to the standard operating procedure for sample entry;
- Prioritize the samples received based on TAT and holding time;
- Communicate the rush turnaround and short holding time samples to lab personnel for immediate analysis;
- Communicate and interact with the Bureau Veritas clientele to respond to sample reception inquiries, conformances, etc.
- Oversee that all samples requiring subcontracting are sent out within the same day of reception and that paperwork is correctly filled out;
- Follow and maintain the organisation's quality assurance policies and procedures;
- Participate in the continual development for optimizing sample entry tasks;
- Other related tasks

Skills and Knowledge:

- B.Sc. or its equivalent, laboratory experience is a must;
- Bilingual in French and English ;
- Very good computer skills;
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Applicant must be a reliable, responsible and a motivated individual capable of establishing priorities and working in a team.
