Flooring Sales Consultant

- **Responsibilities**:_
- Cultivate and nurture positive relationships with our valued customers.
- Analyze customer requirements to offer tailored product and installation recommendations for their unique flooring projects.
- Keep abreast of the latest product developments and installation techniques to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Execute on-site measurements and blueprint assessments, creating comprehensive quotes and layouts for materials and installation.
- Efficiently manage the entire sales process, from order placement to invoicing.
- **Qualifications/Requirements**:_
- Ability to work full-time hours, including one evening, every other Saturday, and a consistent day off each week
- Proficient in mathematics and computer operations to ensure precise measurements and quotes.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Capable of both independent work and collaborative efforts within a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in interior design, flooring installation, or customer service is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license is a requirement for this role.

Wm. Dyck & Sons is a family owned business that was founded in the early 1950’s by William W. Dyck and is currently owned by Carl Fast, grandson of Mr. Wm. Dyck. The company continues to grow, and in 2015, opened a 9000 sqft Flooring Centre on the same property as their retail store and Cabinet Centre. They have also added a distribution center just outside of Niverville to handle all building material deliveries. The business serves customers in communities around Niverville, across Manitoba and into Ontario.
