**Necessary Qualifications**:

- possession of a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
- university training, or its equivalent, relevant to the posted position; and,
- successful teaching experience relevant to the posted position

**DISTRICT**

The successful applicant must:

- demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in the integration of play-based learning within the BC Primary and intermediate Curriculum;
- have proven skills in working in curricular design;
- have five years successful teaching experience
- be fluent in both English and French; and,
- possess a B.C. Driver’s License.
- improve the outcomes for vulnerable children;
- develop and implement the K to 12 Assessment Plan;
- ensure the development of programs and services that support play-based learning, personalized learning and curriculum design that foster success of vulnerable students in French Immersion primary classrooms;
- demonstrate leadership and support student personalized learning with classroom teachers through Collaborative Learning Rounds;
- in partnership with classroom teachers, to develop classroom support models for complex and multi aged classrooms; and,
- development of a transition to school model in partnership with other agencies such as early childhood education centers and aboriginal day cares and pre-schools.
