**Position Overview**: The Edmonton Youth Justice Committee Society (EYJCS) seeks a Restorative Justice Circle Coordinator for our North Office. This permanent part-time role involves overseeing restorative justice circles for youth and young adults. You will be required to work Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and potentially other weeknights as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Case Management connecting with all parties involved (youth, parents/guardians/support workers, young adults, and harmed persons)
- Scheduling volunteers to facilitate the restorative justice circles
- Direct supervision of volunteers who facilitate the restorative justice circles
- Handle paperwork and administrative processes related to case management
- Monitor case progress and follow up with volunteers
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure effective operation
- Background in social work with experience working with youth and young adults.
- Experience in volunteer supervision and a strong interest in restorative justice.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Experience in a non-profit environment is an asset.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Restorative Justice experience, training, diploma, or degree.
- Equivalent experience and education in criminology or social work will be considered.
- Professional experience working with youth and young adults.
- Knowledge of victim needs and services,
- Experience supervising or working with volunteers.
- Effective case management and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Youth Criminal Justice Act
- Knowledge of the Province of Alberta privacy laws

**Additional Requirements**:

- On-site work is required at the North Office.
- Availability to work Wednesdays from 1 PM to 9 PM and flexibility for one additional evening shift per week.
- Ability to commute or plan to relocate before starting employment is required.
