**Channel Manager respons**ibilities**
- Aggressively pursue inbound leads within a target segment to qualify prospects that can bring EV charging infrastructure to market.
- Analyze the market opportunity and target specific reseller organizations by performing coordinated outbound selling efforts.
- Engage with existing channel partners to understand their business needs, as well as the business needs and objectives of the end customer to ensure success for all parties involved.
- Create and deliver concise and compelling sales presentations for your strategic channel partners and continue to assist them in their efforts.
- Cultivate and develop the VAR channel to facilitate and manage an indirect sale that may involve multiple products including partner products (EV charging equipment).
- Conduct periodic reviews with your strategic partners to determine how well the objectives of all the parties, including ChargeLab are being met.
- Drive the entire sales cycle arm in arm with your channel partners from prospect engagement/qualification, quote creation, contract negotiation and finally customer purchase order.
- Have a proficient understanding of the ChargeLab platform as well as those of our partners.
- Serve various industries across the US and Canada.
- Manage opportunities in CRM (Salesforce) and record key activities on prospect and customer interactions.
- Be able to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Travel 20% within territory.
- An entrepreneurial mindset who can build a sales plan to meet specific company targets
- The ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial call through to closing
- A solution oriented attitude to effectively improve or change process when necessary
- Strong business acumen with the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial contractual terms
- A passion for electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and/or clean transportation

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of professional sales experience in either an SDR, inside sales or channel sales role
- Previous experience supporting the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers
- Experience using Google Workspace and a CRM system, e.g. Salesforce
- A proven track record of meeting sales objectives
- Undergraduate degree in a related field
- Successful completion of a criminal background check (coordinated by us)
- Bonus: Previous experience selling Software as a Service within a Seed or Series A/B backed startup
