**JOB SUMMARY**:
Implementation & Training Services helps new and existing customers successfully onboard and launch with D2L products.

A Strategy Consultant is considered a thought leader in improving learning strategies and business processes by both internal and external stakeholders. As a Strategy Consultant, you will work with clients from across industry segments to find resources, develop successful methodologies and determine what changes can be made to improve the way their business approaches learning. This involves conducting evaluations, performing need analyses, and formulating learning strategies to support digital transformations and identifying key performance metrics. To ensure success as a strategy consultant, you should have sound knowledge of learning industry trends and considering a wide range of ongoing solutions to solve client problems. This role is analytical and is focused on understanding client use cases and providing recommendations to improve the way clients approach learning solutions.

**HOW WILL I MAKE AN IMPACT?**
- Review current and future state of client organizational/learning strategy to:

- Evaluate current workflows/programs and identify a strategic roadmap for achieving future goals
- Conduct a needs analysis and supply a strategy to support digital learning transformation
- Support the client in identifying performance gaps and align learning interventions to business goals and provide recommendations to optimize learning outcomes
- Provide advisory services at a business strategy level to support transitions to (and growth of) the online learning platform. Typical topics including:

- Organizational Readiness and Communication Planning
- Change Management and strategies to deal with resistance
- Instructor enablement and adoption planning
- Competency Based Education and launching programs
- Data related goals and focusing on what data is important
- Micro Credentials/Skills based Learning
- Advisor workflows
- Help clients develop credentialing, micro-credentialing, competency-based education, and skills strategies to evaluate and track learner success and progression.
- Support customers in developing ongoing engagement strategies such as Communities of Practice.
- Provide strategies for collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
- Focus on the business interpretation, business intelligence, and business value for clients
- Support and document methods, practices, whitepapers, and references around the value and approaches of e-learning
- Support and participate on sales and go to market activities
- Work closely with account managers to help clients define solutions
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on current practices and emerging trends in instructional technology, educational policy, assessment of learning effectiveness, and blended and online learning
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of professional education organization standards and national and state/provincial policies affecting e-learning
- Consult with clients to develop strong return on investment

- Ability to instill confidence and influence customers decisions in a consultative manner as a trusted advisor
- Ability to deliver quality, professional presentations, workshops, and individual consultations
- Strong knowledge around teaching, training, online learning delivery, administration of online programs, and leading technology change
- Direct work with strategic planning, change management, and organizational readiness and significant knowledge of change management and organizational development methodology
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level
- High energy level, demonstrated drive to succeed, and a sense of urgency

**Skills**:

- PROSCI® or other change management certification preferred
