**About Us**:
Driven by a promise to serve our cancer community, the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation raises funds for all phases of cancer care. The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation provides funding to the Windsor Regional Cancer Program to purchase equipment and amenities. Funds raised provide comfort and care for our patients not otherwise funded by the Province of Ontario. 100% of funds raised remain local and ensures our Cancer Program remains one of the leading programs in Ontario.

**The Opportunity**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the fundraising department to meet or exceed annual fundraising objectives in accordance with the foundation's strategic direction.
- Support the development of performance metrics and measurable targets for the department.
- Work strategically with the Executive Director to implement, manage, and evaluate fundraising strategies.
- Identify, solicit, acquire, cultivate and steward relationships with existing and prospective donors, sponsors and third-party partners.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team to enhance fundraising strategies.
- Forecast and manage Fundraising budget.
- Utilize CRM system to track fundraising activities, monitor pipeline, and generate reports.
- Develop and coach team members, providing leadership and support for their continued professional development.
- Support organizational annual planning process.
- Coordinate the delivery of donor cycle activities: prospect research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for major individual, corporate and foundation donors.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Fundraising or Sales, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Minimum 3 years in a management position, with accountability for teams, budget management and stakeholder relations.
- Proficient in implementing data-driven fundraising strategies with a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets and driving growth.
- Proven success in major gift fundraising (or major accounts) and corporate partnership development
- Possess and demonstrate a keen ability to understand the needs and interests of individual donors, corporations and other funding bodies in order to identify untapped potential and future growth opportunities.
- Experience in raising funds in a capital campaign setting an asset.
- CFRE designation or in progress considered an asset.
- Extensive experience with CRMs and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate donor relationships and build strong long-term, meaningful bonds.
- Experienced and capable in developing campaign strategies.

**Work week is generally day shift, Monday to Friday, but evenings and weekends will be required from time to time to attend events, meetings, etc. as needed.
