Applications are invited for the position of Global Engagement Coordinator-Outbound Inbound in the Office of Cultural & Global Engagement in the International Division, located at the Welland Campus. The starting hourly rate is $32.42 (Pay Band G - $32.42/hr to $37.57/hr) for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Cultural & Global Engagement, the Inbound Global Engagement Coordinator will be instrumental in facilitating the development, implementation, advisement, and management of participant registration and communication for Be World Ready's (BWR) inbound global engagement experiences. These experiences encompass various initiatives such as Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), on-campus engagement events, BWR co-curricular activities, inbound semester exchanges, and community project collaborations.

The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for learners, offering guidance to enhance their engagement in specialized Be World Ready experiences and programs. Collaboration will extend to diverse areas including Niagara College service departments, government funding agencies, academic partner institutions, and local community organizations.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Collaborate with Office of Cultural & Global Engagement team members to oversee the continual growth of participation registration for BWR areas of focus. Primary area of focus will be inbound global engagement experiences, with support for outbound global engagement experiences where necessary
- Lead collaboration with service areas across the institution and with external partners to ensure BWR inbound global engagement participants have received the proper guidance and supports needed to participate and register appropriately in BWR experiences
- Lead and maintain process mapping documents, to be shared with external and internal stakeholders, to ensure consistent delivery of BWR experiences
- Participate and support promotions and events of BWR areas of focus
- Collaborate to assess and recommend enhancements for continuous process, policy, and system improvements for participate registration with both internal and external stakeholders for BWR experiences
- Collaborate with Office of Cultural & Global Engagement team members to update and facilitate pre-departure and post-participation training sessions and materials, for in-person and virtual deliveries, as needed
- Assist in creating engaging content to highlight students' experiences in collaboration with Office of Cultural & Global Engagement team members
- During peak periods support larger Office of Cultural & Global Engagement team members as needed and requested
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Three (3) year Diploma or Degree in Humanities, Communications, Tourism & Hospitality, Business Administration, International Business, International Relations, International Education, or similar field of study
- Three (3) years experience in providing program or project support to include experience supporting international education programming and experience working with diverse learners and systems
- Strong administrative and clerical acumen
- A proven ability to work with diverse clients in multi-cultural settings
- Considerable experience guiding and supporting others through processes, systems and procedures
- Experience working in or creating international virtual learning experiences considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and reporting skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, to problem solve under pressure
