At CanAmerican we provide a variety of the highest quality products in trucking, from lift axles to custom-built stone spreaders, to dump bodies and more

Our marquis product is our in-house designed and developed Soil King brand stone spreader. This innovative brand was driven from valuable customer feedback and our own experiences working with our equipment in the field. This has given us a highly competitive edge in the market and allows us to continually improve our equipment through vigorous, real-world testing for safety, durability and maneuverability.

Our state-of-the-art paint facilities were added at the beginning of 2020. Our booths are inside a temperature-controlled plant and are well lit with a high-quality lighting system.

**Paint Assistant**:Primary Responsibilities:
**Daily Primary Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Paint equipment and equipment parts according to predefined procedures and specifications
- Assist Paint Manager with booth changeovers, maintenance, and cleanup of booths
- Prepare equipment parts to be painted
- Ensure high quality standards are always adhered to when performing work on any equipment.
- Work safely according to company guidelines and always maintain a clean and acceptable working environment.
- Assist in general tasks around the plant as various needs arise

**Teamworking**
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure daily goals are met.

Job requirements include:

- Experience working in paint spray booths - 1-2 years.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Preference towards automotive industry experience.
- Physical labour and other activities as required.
- A self-starter, able to work in a team or independently.
- Be reliable, responsible, diligent, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Keen to drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and techniques.
- Be a team player, respectful, and be able to influence colleagues to the best solution. We are looking for someone who can argue their case for the good of the business - someone who can see beyond the confines of their department.
- Be organized, presentable, pay attention to detail, and punctual.

Wage
- $20.00-$23.00/Hour - depending on experience

Onsite training will also be provided as part of the onboarding procedure.

CanAmerican’s facilities are clean, well-lit and temperature controlled. We make sure our staff are equipped with all necessary safety equipment to fulfill their roles.

Hours of operation - Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime hours may be offered during busy seasons.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
