Our growing Digital Advisory, Software Development, Data, Geospatial team in Canada is seeking to recruit an Associate, Digital Lead to join us. Our regional team is made up of a global group of geospatial professionals, software developers and digital consultants within Arup. We use our collective talents to incubate and deliver technology-led solutions to clients, and in doing so help transform the way that cities, buildings and physical networks are planned and delivered, to ensure a better world for all.

Working as part of a growing team in Canada, and as the first Digital team member located in our new Ottawa office, you will be leading and/or delivering technical digital solutions related to environmental, planning and infrastructure aspects of local, national and international projects. You will work as part of a diverse, digitally minded team on projects of various types and scales, regularly cross-collaborating with other multi-disciplinary Arup teams and working closely with our clients to advise and to help shape a better world, one project at a time.

**Is this role right for you?**
- Undergraduate Degree or Certificate / Diploma in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology or similar digital discipline.
- Twelve or more (12+) years demonstrated previous experience leading, coordinating and delivering digital support and solutions on rail / transit / infrastructure projects, including direct-to-client consulting
- Experience with client engagement and digital advisory including, but not limited to, current state & gap assessments, strategy and roadmap, requirements gathering, options analysis.
- Strong team coordination, project leadership and time management skills and experience with coordinating the execution of personal assignments as well as coordination with peers as necessary to help ensure seamless and quality in delivery.
- Strong communications skills, including ability to write and present with consideration of the interests and technical competency of a specific audience.
- Interest in being active in Ottawa networking and industry events as a representative of not only Arup Digital, but Arup at large in the National Capital Region.
- Enjoys working as part of and actively contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
- Willingness to travel out-of-town to client offices 25% of time; up to 50% of time during start-up or busy project periods.
