Automation Specialist

**What is the opportunity?**

**What will you do?**
You are a technical specialist focusing on test case design, implementation, automation, use & enablement of the QE function and will provide technical test architecture leadership and strategic direction for your assigned QE organization.
Support the QE Director in achieving their strategic goals for the QE Team by providing technical support to the team.
Support leadership in the execution of automated testing frameworks, processes and tools, and utilization of organizational change management practices to drive support and empower staff in assigned unit.
Provide recommendations and contribute to test strategy & technical solutions in area of expertise, including leading QE work streams.
Overseeing the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems.

**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
8+ years of strong Java or Python experience
Experience in various automation frameworks like - TestNG, Robot, Rest Assured etc
Experience with Springboot Microservices, Apigee.
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Experience in automating Messaging layer like Kafka, IBM MQ, JMS.
Knowledge of databases - SqlServer, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB etc.
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
Strong computer science knowledge
Good programming skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
Experience working with Jira, qTest, Confluence, MS Office

**Nice-to-have**
Knowledge AWS or Azure services
