**Job Overview**

The Account Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the clinics team by managing inventory, dispensing and packaging clinic orders, and assisting with administrative and accounting tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to support patients, customers, and internal teams. This role provides administrative and operational assistance, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth sales processes while maintaining a collaborative team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Support the Account Manager by assisting with inquiries about product availability, pricing, and special requests.
- Help review and process customer orders efficiently, preparing quotes and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Assist in sourcing non-stocked products for customers through our vendor database.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records, conduct monthly counts, and report discrepancies.
- Package and ship customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Document customer feedback and assist in tracking market trends for the sales team.
- Provide administrative support for sales activities, including data entry and order tracking.
- Collaborate with the team to address customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales and operations team.
- Purchasing, shipping and receiving pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent and quick customer service, answering phones, dispensing and entering and processing prescriptions.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Previous experience in pharmacy or sales support is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and prescription processing.
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and systems, such as Kroll & Telus Assyst POS, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
