Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent and organized student to assist in a variety of administrative activities (ex. Logging and storage of patient charts). This role involves close collaboration with the Health Information Management (HIM) staff and the Mental Health (MH) program to ensure proper handling and accessibility of patient records.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Use of Content Inventory sheet
- Off-site and on-site box coordination for active and inactive patient charts
- Work under the guidance and oversight of the HIM staff, using designated workspace within the HIM department.
- Sort and categorize documents accurately, ensuring they are filed in the correct physical or digital locations.
- Input relevant document information into electronic filing systems.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to Lakeridge Health's privacy policies.
- Demonstrated reliability (attendance and punctuality), communication skills and the ability to work independently

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in Office Administration (or similar) program - required
- Previous experience using Microsoft Excel; required
- Strong data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
