We are searching for a **Health Informatics Analyst** to join our Insights Lab based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

**About the Opportunity**
- Determines the best way to integrate various data sources and information to maximize analytical output
- Maintains integrity and cleanliness of data received from BI&A team, and other sources
- Identifies new information sources which could support and compliment what is presently collected
- Mines data to support the business in determining root causes for resident and site outcomes
- Generates appropriate reports and completes statistical analysis
- Segments residents based on clinical care outcome the Insights Lab is planning to solve
- Communicates and collaborates positively with other Insights Lab Analysts to determine the best solutions

**About You**

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in an analytical role
- Minimum 2-5 years experience with data mining and statistical analysis
- Programming skills in languages such as Python with aptitude for learning other analytics tools; experience with Excel and PowerBI
- Experience with Machine learning
- Experience with sensory data analysis
- Master’s degree with a focus in informatics, statistics, or research methods, considered an asset
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
