**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities and Duties: Include but not limited to**
- Assist with key aspects of the accounting operations such as reporting, accounts payable and receivable.
- Exporting customer orders from company software into accounting software.
- Support the maintenance of proper, effective, and efficient accounting systems, processes and practices based on recognized accounting principles, policies, procedures and guidelines while ensuring compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Assist with reviewing and processing accounts payable and receivables.
- Prepare and record weekly bank deposits.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing documents and responding to vendors, customers and team members.
- Manage company HR software and respond to team members’ inquiries.
- Assist drivers in maintaining accurate documents in compliance with MTO requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage 50.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounting practices including, preparation of orders, processing payables, customer payments.
- Effectve communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the organization’s mission.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
