**The Position**:
**What You Bring**:

- An energetic, values-driven approach.
- A bachelor’s degree or certificate in Labour Relations, Human Resources, or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A sound knowledge of the not-for-profit sector, organized union structures, and have some knowledge of the current healthcare system in Alberta.
- Knowledge of labour legislation and the employer’s obligation for the duty to accommodate.
- A commitment to advocating and supporting members
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with 3rd party insurers, and handling STD, LTD, and WCB appeals.
- Demonstrated experience with disability case management, return-to-work accommodations, and various benefit plans
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex disability claims and recommend appropriate accommodations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- The ability to work outside of regular business hours with the ability to travel, as required.
