Electronics Test Centre (ETC) is a compliance laboratory that is specialized in Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing, radio certification and mechanical/climatic (Product Integrity) testing.

ETC Airdrie has a job opportunity for an EMC test specialist.

Under supervision of senior EMC specialist, your responsibilities include:

- Setup and conduct EMC compliance testing as per North American and International standards;
- Understand and support customer product setup and requirements;
- Redact reports in accordance to regulation;
- Maintain test equipment;
- Support management of equipment calibration;
- Follow company quality and operation procedures;
- Must be Available for shift work based on test services demand;
- Available to support other test discipline or miscellaneous activities like (shipping/receiving, test area cleaning and equipment maintenance)

Must have requirements:

- Knowledge of RF theory, measurement principles, and physical units;
- Knowledge of RF equipment like: spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, precision RF cables and connections handling;
- Capable to work independently or as part of a team (able to make responsible decisions or follow directions from senior staffs);
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with customer, show work ethic and attention to details;
- Ability to self learn test procedures described from the regulatory and international standards.
- Must be available for shift work based on work load;
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel software and able to manipulate data from text files.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
