Clinical Screening Coordinator

LMC Manna Research, IACT Health, and True North Clinical Research have united to become the largest network of fully owned and integrated clinical research sites in North America, Centricity Research.
The sites that were formerly known as LMC Manna bring phase I-IV clinical trial services with specialized focuses on endocrine disorders, real world evidence big data research, vaccine research, and primary care studies within Canada at sites across Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. The sites that were formerly known as IACT Health brings phase I-IV clinical trials in over 30 therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, infectious disease, and pain with wholly owned and integrated clinical research offices in multiple cities in the United States across the Southeast, including Georgia and Virginia. The sites that were formerly known as True North Clinical Research are located in Nova Scotia and specialize in research related to Alzheimer’s disease and conditions related to aging and are committed to finding new treatments to maintain an improved quality of life for patients through innovation and passion.

Currently, our rapidly expanding team and site network is looking for a **Clinical Screening Coordinator** who can work for us on a **full-time, permanent basis**, supporting our **Toronto **sites.
**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
Recruit patients for participation in clinical research studies
- Complete Informed Consent and screening visits per study protocol and LMC Manna research SOP and WP
- Perform delegated tasks completely and accurately, including review of demographic information, medication history, and medical history
- Complete the source documents, case report forms, and data queries in a timely manner, accurately, and completely.
- Monitor and report all adverse events and abnormal results to the Investigator, Sponsor, and IRB as per protocol and REB requirements
- Report Serious Adverse Events and other expedited safety events within 24 hours to the Investigator, Sponsor, and Research Ethics Board and complete appropriate follow-up as required
- Assist with preparation for monitoring visits with Sponsor representative (monitor)
- Obtain and maintain computerized database of all ad callers via the 1-833-323-JOIN telephone line or web postings
- Accurately complete research tracking log and LMC Manager ad database
- Establish and maintain effective communication with providers of various media outlets and organizations
- Assist the Marketing Specialist by providing content management support to LMC Manna Research website and various social media outlets
- Draft advertisements and retrieve appropriate approvals i.e. Sponsor & REB
- Provide study metrics on a regular basis and provide ongoing feedback regarding outcome of recruitment initiatives
- Problem solve and create contingency plans to optimize enrollment via recruitment initiatives
- Occasionally attend community lectures, health fairs or events to promote LMC Manna Research
- Set up support for community events and support groups by organizing various staff within LMC Manna Research
- Work on enrollment and retention initiatives with Recruitment Team Lead, Director, Patient Engagement Innovation and President, Research
- Support and/or run initiatives that promote branding of LMC and LMC Manna Research e.g. JDRF walk
- Assist the Recruitment Team Lead, Director, Patient Engagement Innovation, President, Research and/or Investigators with any other research tasks as required
- Able to work in a regional setting to support sites with recruitment and screening as needed
**Requirements**:
- Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent
- Experience in Marketing, an asset
- Experience in Clinical Research, an asset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
