Load Planner

**Duties**:

- Plan and coordinate the movement of freight and shipments
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers to ensure timely delivery
- Analyze transportation data and make informed decisions to optimize routes and maximize efficiency
- Utilize phone systems and computer software (Xpert, Motive, Loadlink) to book, track shipments and update information.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure accurate inventory management
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues or delays
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any transportation-related issues
- Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- three/four years of experience in load planning or logistics preferred
- Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and freight management
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for tracking shipments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with carriers, drivers, and customers
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize routes and improve efficiency
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management principles
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of shipments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
