**eleven eleven kitchen + bar **is looking to hire our inaugural team

A new type of watering hole. Bringing a simple concept of elevated service and care to your neighborhood local. Join an environment where we are going to be putting an emphasis on service levels, care for each customer and each team member as well as the top-quality products we will be serving.

**eleven eleven kitchen + bar** will share a common kitchen with Zero Latency On Tilt (a free roam virtual reality arena) and will focus on an elevated pub fare menu. All menu items are expected to be made from fresh ingredients and combined wonderful flavor combinations.

Our **Executive Chef** will be responsible for overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring the quality of food items. Their duties will include hiring and training staff to cook their dishes, expediting orders to maintain a steady flow of dishes and creating dishes or recipes to add to the menu. Quite simply, our Executive Chef will lead the kitchen team and work in conjunction with the service team.

We are looking for an energetic person that brings a positive vibe and has an entrepreneurial heart with aspirations of growing a business and moving up in a corporate team.

Other assets we’re looking for:

- 3-5 years’ experience cooking in a production environment and in the hospitality industry
- Diploma in a culinary program from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Journeyman’s ticket and Red Seal certification is an asset
- Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Availability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform duties quickly and under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Menu creation
- Ability to maintain quality along with controlling costs in a high volume food industry

Expectation of $60,000 salary to start with bonuses based on 6 month performance review
