**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
Reporting to the Vice President, the Director, HR Technology and Workforce Management is a strategic partner responsible for the portfolios of HRIS, Centralized Staffing and Scheduling, Total Rewards, Volunteer Services and Spiritual Care. The Director, HR Technology and Workforce Management leads design and implementation of strategies to optimize operational excellence, harness data and technology and leverage Total Rewards in support of creating a culture where people can thrive. The Director, HR Technology and Workforce Management will work with our leadership team to enhance the quality of care delivered; demonstrate the behaviours that support our values and realize a positive workplace culture; build partnerships internally and externally and optimize use of technology in the delivery of HR services and workforce deployment.
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years related work experience, majority at leadership level
- 3+ years hands-on experience designing and leading HR technology initiatives
- Project Management education and experience preferred
- Specialized training in Total Rewards preferred
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
- Demonstrated ability to build cooperative, collaborative working relationships
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with administration, directors / managers, staff, physicians, and the community
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to continually changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to manage change effectively
- Experience working in a unionized environment, working with collective bargaining teams and labour/employee relations
- Strong understanding of the legislated environment relating to employment
- Demonstrated experience in workplace risk management
- Demonstrated experience in staff development
- Strong understanding of performance measurement principles and techniques
- Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement, preferred
