If so, the HR Manager - Learning Systems & Coordination within SaskTel’s corporate Learning & Development team is the role for you.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Accountable for ongoing operations, support, continuous improvement/development, and implementation of SaskTel’s learning systems. Manages the Learning & Development Coordination team responsible for supporting learning operations. Responsible for maintenance of vendor contracts. Partners with team members and clients to meet learning and business needs. Manages and maintains operating and capital budgets for the Learning & Development (L&D) team.

**SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**

1. Manages day-to-day operations of SaskTel’s learning management system(LMS) and related tools/learning technical standards. Drives improvement and innovation via partnering with SaskTel’s learning system integrator partners to deliver a seamless user experience and high adoption.

2. Accountable to manage the Learning & Development Coordination team, which supports learning operations such as course scheduling/logistics, managing training enrollment waitlists, resolving technical issues related to the LMS/digital learning systems, and providing physical classroom infrastructure/support.

3. Partners with Learning & Development (L&D) team members and with key business stakeholders, both internal and external, to collaboratively develop learning solutions that meet clients’ learning and business needs. Builds relationships with stakeholders throughout and at all levels of the organization.

4. Ensures accurate and timely reporting through the development/scheduling/ maintenance of routine reports via the LMS and other learning systems.

5. Accountable to ensure opportunities to measure the impact of learning programs and improve decision-making through analytics are identified and actioned. Partners with SaskTel Information Systems (IS), vendor/system partners, and departmental business intelligence (BI)/analytics teams to ensure client reporting needs are met.

6. Responsible to work with departmental budget primes and the L&D team to ensure the L&D operating budget is allocated and aligned with business priorities. Investigates any budget variances or discrepancies.

7. Manages the L&D capital budget to ensure physical classroom infrastructure, equipment, and technology are meeting client needs and requirements.

8. Ensures training vendors are abiding by contract terms. Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with vendors to ensure training delivery is consistent with corporate values and initiatives.

9. Accountable for acquiring, developing, training and coaching personnel. Ensures that resources are aligned to current strategic priorities.

10.Responsible for the implementation, communication, administration, and reporting of corporate training programs, policies, and procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Specializations in training and development or learning technology would be an asset.

2. Working knowledge of learning technologies such as learning management systems and elearning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI). Experience with SuccessFactors Learning, MS Power BI & Alteryx is preferred.

3. Demonstrated analytical/troubleshooting skills.

4. Ability to consult with clients to develop learning technology solutions that align with business needs.

5. Demonstrated ability to adopt business intelligence (BI) to improve business processes.

7. Knowledge of SaskTel’s corporate structure would be an asset.

8. Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and respond to multiple competing demands.
