**Position**: Finance Coordinator

**Posting Date**: October 31, 2024

**Program**: Finance Department

Community Living St. Catharines is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced and motivated individual to assist the department in meeting the financial responsibilities for the agency, including processing of accounts payable/receivables, bank deposits, and the day-to-day financial transactions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Requirement
- Post secondary education in Business/Accounting or a related field
- Over three years and up to four years experience in a finance position
- Experience with day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions
- Experience with monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Receipting/recording of incoming monies into the Accounts Receivable
- Experience in recording of payments, bank deposits, reconciliation of same
- Experience with assisting in year-end preparation
- Proven ability to be detail-orientated and able to manage multiple and competing tasks
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Exceptional skills in the areas of prioritization, and problem-solving
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (proficient in Excel) & related financial software programs
- (experience with ZedAxis software is an asset)
- Experience with donations, donation receipts (knowledge of Sumac software is an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and minimum of $1 million liability insurance (use of own vehicle is required)
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Police Check
- Completion of the Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness Certificate
- Competency Skills test will be applied during interview process

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $54,808.00-$57,720.00 per year
