**Your Opportunity**

As a **Total Rewards Specialist **(compensation and performance), you will be joining a team of sophisticated Total Rewards professionals who have a lot of fun doing serious work. This role will report to the Manager, Total Rewards, working closely with the client-facing Human Resources Advisors (HR business partners) to design, administer and implement compensation and performance programs that align rewards with performance and firm objectives. This role will actively participate in the advancement of the Total Rewards offering at BDO and will have exposure to elements of Total Rewards beyond compensation and performance. While owning the following responsibilities, you will be able to work from any of our offices across Canada:

- Support effective administration of compensation programs including market survey participation, annual salary and bonus review process, compensation reporting, data analysis, and pay equity
- Support the design and implementation of compensation management processes, including:

- Design of compensation programs that are relevant for the business and strategically aligned to its priorities
- Support clients in understanding compensation strategy, policies and practices, by providing consultation and guidance with the support of the Manager
- Contribute to creation and review of compensation communications and training materials

Support the firm
- 's performance management processes, including:

- Program design and implementation, and enhancements of existing performance programs
- Administer performance systems (Workday) and provide client support
- Support with performance management communications and education
- Identify enhancements opportunities in support of our pay for performance culture
- Act as a brand ambassador, building and communicating the Firm's employee value proposition
- Participate in national HR projects

**Your experience and education**
- You have a minimum of 2 years in compensation and/or performance management, preferably within a large, national, multi-discipline, and multi-location organization. Experience in coordinating both annual compensation review processes and performance cycles is essential.
- You have advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional statements. Strong numeric and data manipulation abilities to derive insights from data.
- You have a high attention to detail with the ability to maintain professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- You are client service oriented with the ability to work effectively with client-facing HR Advisors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with relationship-building abilities.
- You have exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a proactive approach. Ability to prepare clear and effective presentation materials and reports to support HR activities.
- You have working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, HRIS/HRMS, and performance and talent management systems.
- If you have experience with Workday, a relevant degree in HR, Business, Administration, or a CCP designation (or progress towards one), they will be considered a strong asset.
- If you have Bilingual proficiency in French, it will be considered a strong asset.
- You have a demonstrated strong willingness and proven ability to learn and grow.

Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 annually
