**Summary**:
Canderel is seeking an energetic summer student to assist our Sustainability Department with a broad range of responsibilities. Canderel is a national real estate investment, development and management company that focuses on office and industrial properties, as well as residential and retail spaces. Canderel’s values encompass a commitment to sustainability, community, and inclusion. These values ground our approach to real estate by recognizing that the impacts of climate change on physical assets are inherently tied to the wellbeing and inclusion of building occupants, and that both must be managed in a responsible manner to create long term value to our clients and for the communities we serve.

**What You Will Do**:
**Sustainable Building Operations**: Support the development of tools and procedures to support the decarbonization of the buildings managed by Canderel.

**Corporate Reporting**: Support the development of tools and gathering of data to support efforts in accounting for Canderel’s GHG footprint and other sustainability priorities.

**Green Building Certification**: Provide support towards building certification programs, such as: BOMA BEST, LEED, Zero Carbon Building Standard, WELL Health & Safety, etc.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Knowledge of building sustainability, energy management, carbon accounting
- Proven analytical skills, including collecting and interpreting data efficiently
- Advanced problem-solving skills and proven ability to develop practical solutions
- Strong written and oral communication
- Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset
