**Who we need**
**Responsibilities**:
- Support analysis in budgets, forecasts, financial plans, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
- Manage allocations of restricted funds towards eligible expenses, ensuring compliance with funder agreements while proactively alerting management teams to any risk of under-or-over-spending.
- Update fund allocation tracking system every month, monitoring actual against budgeted spending throughout the fiscal year, informing organizational planning and funder reporting.
- Partner and collaborate with management teams to gather, analyze, and prepare information regarding financial plans, operating forecasts, and other analytical projects.
- Provide detailed reporting on financial performance at a program level, highlighting vital operational trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support preparing monthly financial statements and materials for Senior Management and Board meetings.
- Facilitate the development and monitoring of a management reporting framework to support the organization's growth and its strategic and operational goals, including the design of new reports to manage the business more effectively.
- Develop and maintain financial models, including sensitivity analyses, around internal and external factors to support achieving overall organization objectives and strategy.
- Assist in developing the organization's budgets and drive accountability by monitoring adherence to approved budgets.
- Analyze progress to plan, highlighting pertinent information, including variances and trends and assist in formulating recommendations to stakeholders.
- Analyze the financial implications of growth strategies, including capital and operating requirements.
- Review all grant submissions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.
- Develop financial analysis to supplement the development of business cases put forward by program areas.
- Provide continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Maintain ERP-related activities such as updating user accounts and assigning and managing electronic approvals whenever required.
- Process Journal entries, perform reconciliation and maintain the accuracy of the accounting ERP system for payroll-related GL codes.
- Maintain continuous focus on innovating and improving procedures and processes to build capacity.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Professional accounting designation or studying towards a designation.
- A University Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience conducting data analysis.
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI or MS Access.
- Ability to interpret data and analyze financial information to provide recommendations.
- Strong technical and analytical aptitude and experience in financial modelling is an asset.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, probe, analyze and problem-solve issues.
- Strong analytical abilities, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Be a dedicated and flexible team player able to interact with team members and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
