**About Us**
**Job Summary**
As the Accounting Manager at WHC, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial management and supporting our aggressive growth objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will oversee our accounting operations, enhance financial systems and processes, and supervise the bookkeeping staff. This position is crucial for maintaining financial stability and providing meaningful insights that drive business success.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the daily and full cycle accounting operations, including transaction management, financial reporting & analysis, and asset & cash flow management.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and management reporting, including month/year-end close and revenue recognition.
- Administer and comply with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Improve systems and procedures, as well as initiate corrective actions to automate and streamline corporate accounting.
- Guide financial decisions and safeguard assets by developing, documenting, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Mentor and supervise the bookkeeping staff to ensure that all financial deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.
**Who You Are**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting/financial management experience with proven experience in the same or similar role.
- Experience with SaaS or similar subscription-type companies, a plus.
- Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP (i.e., ASPE) and applicable financial regulations.
- Proficiency with computer and data manipulation skills on Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a knack for managing and mentoring accounting staff.
- Excellent communication skills (French and English) and the ability to report complex information clearly and accurately.

En tant que Gestionnaire de la comptabilité chez WHC, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans le renforcement de la gestion des finances et dans la poursuite de nos objectifs ambitieux en matière de croissance. Relevant directement du Directeur des Finances, vous superviserez les opérations comptables, renforcerez les systèmes et processus financiers et encadrerez le personnel chargé de la tenue des comptes. Ce poste est essentiel pour maintenir une stabilité financière et fournir des analyses pertinentes favorisant la réussite de l'entreprise.
**Principales Responsabilités**
- Gérer et superviser les opérations courantes et les opérations cycliques de la comptabilité, y compris la gestion des transactions, l'analyse et les rapports financiers, ainsi que la gestion des actifs et des flux de trésorerie.
- Veiller à l'exactitude et à la ponctualité des rapports financiers et de gestion, y compris la clôture mensuelle/annuelle et la reconnaissance des revenus.
- Gérer et respecter les exigences locales, provinciales et fédérales en matière de rapports et de déclarations fiscales.
