**Location**:Primarily remote, occasionally working at our main office (1179 King St W, Toronto, ON, M6K 3C5) or a regional office, as needed

**Hours**:37.5hrs per week

**Annual Salary**:$65,000-$68,000

**Duration**:6 months with the possibility of extension

**Position Overview**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and execution of Autism Ontario’s digital content, social media and content strategy, including content planning for both English and French, day-to-day monitoring, posting, community management and engagement, marketing and promotional campaigns, and analytics for all social media platforms (e.g., regional, provincial).
- Monitor and proactively identify to Manager, Communications & Resource Development any news and/or issues likely to arise from the public, media, or key stakeholders.
- Ensure that all social content and digital channels maintain and contribute to Autism Ontario’s brand integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Communications Team, including the Marketing and Analytics Specialist and the Content and Design Specialist on social and content campaign strategy development, execution, measurement, analytics, and performance.
- Recommend timely immediate, short-, and medium-term strategies and actions to address issues and/or opportunities for digital communications.
- Create social and digital public awareness, fundraising, and promotional campaigns and messaging as determined in collaboration with the Manager, Communications and Resource Development.
- Provide ongoing support to staff on social media best practices and recommend strategies to expand current reach and engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or post secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social and digital marketing is required.
- Minimum 2 years of digital and graphic design experience is required
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Extensive experience creating engagement strategies and campaigns from ideation to execution, optimization, and post-implementation reporting using social media and analytics tools including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Hootsuite
- Extensive experience using Canva
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging user-centric social media copy.
- Strong data and analytical skills and ability to implement data-driven decision making to optimize and improve future digital and social media marketing efforts and resources.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines, approach change with a flexible mindset, and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to principles of social justice, equity, inclusion and cultural competency
- Client focused with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; fosters collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Fluency in written and oral French is an asset.
