**Position**: Part Time Human Resources - Admin Assistant

**Purpose**: Perform a variety of administrative duties to support our Leaders

**Reporting to**: HR Manager

**Qualifications**:Completion of a one
- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**

a. Update internal databases and organize and maintain personnel files

b. Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings and record meeting minutes

c. Track training attendance and communicate with departmental supervisors on outstanding training

d. Assist with recruitment including posting of job vacancies, screening, interviewing, and verifying references

e. Assist with onboarding of new employees and prepare new hire documentation

f. Maintain schedules and update schedule changes

g. Assist HR manager as needed

h. Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive material and information

i. Ensure safe work practices and follow Meadows of Aurora health and safety policies and procedures, as well, employee guidelines as per Occupational Health and Safety Act

**Other**

a. Responsible for maintenance and ordering of office supplies

b. Coverage of reception for lunch breaks

c. Assist the Resident Services Supervisor as needed

Hours: 30 hours biweekly, working hours are flexible and to be determined

A requirement for all individuals who work at The Meadows of Aurora and support our seniors community include:

- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required..
- A two-step TB test that can be arranged through your family doctor or many pharmacies.
- A Vulnerable Sector Check that can be obtained through designated Police locations.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

- Day shift
