Human Resources Business Partner

You will leverage your human resources experience and expertise to work towards fostering a positive employee experience for our people, and partner with the business on strategic and operations priorities to provide best in class services.
**OVERVIEW**:
We’re looking for a Talent Business Partner to join the People & Culture team. Reporting to the Managing Director of Talent & Culture, this is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring individual to work in a dynamic media agency environment and actively participate in various facets of Human Resources management, spanning the entire employee lifecycle.
**Who you are.**
As an experience HR professional, you are passionate about employee experience and will work on People management for our Services business, including projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, development and retention all in service of making GroupM a media destination for talent. Meanwhile, you will also continue to deepen your knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures and best practices. Your support in recruitment will ensure we are hiring the best and brightest talent in the media space.
**Your Impact**:
- Provide HR advice and support to business leads with organizational planning, ensuring changes align with our business objectives and that talent is deployed effectively
- Analyze HR trends and metrics that help the business take informed decisions
- Provide coaching to junior team members, focused on their development and growth
- Collaborate with HR leads across agencies and Canada-wide to innovate and ensure operational effectiveness
- Lead cross-organizational initiatives to elevate practices and roll out new programs and policies
- Guide and support the business on highly confidential and sensitive HR issues including performance improvement plans, terminations, and employee relation issues
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal employment laws and regulations
- Works collaboratively with Finance to manage total rewards of all employees
**What YOU Bring**:
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant Human Resources Generalist experience
- Demonstrated sound judgement and ability to assess a variety of situations and make recommendations accordingly
- Experience communicating and working directly with senior management
- Experience planning, execution and maintenance projects, processes and/or initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; strong presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a matrix organization
