Part Time Administrative Assistant

We are a busy, fast paced, non-profit construction association located in St. Catharines.
To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
A strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to organize and manage timelines is required. A professional work attitude and strong work ethic are also important to you.
**Key Responsibilities and Job Duties**:
- General office administration including answering phones, sorting mail, and responding to general inquiries
- Assist with the delivery of NCA Education program; scheduling and registration
- Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies
- Help to maintain and update client data in an organized and efficient manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work positively in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- A willingness to keep abreast of new technological developments. Sound knowledge of general office procedure and office equipment (printer/scanner, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, efficient time management and organizational skills
- Experience in a professional non-profit environment is an asset
**Education/Experience**:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma with one year related administrative experience
- Certificate in office administration would be considered an asset
- Experience in working with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in e-blast software and social media
**Compensation**:
Rate of pay is $20.00/hour depending on skills, ability and experience
