(“WFW), the largest movie equipment rental company, is looking for a Film Equipment Technician to join us. With offices across the country, Sunbelt Film & TV services productions of all sizes from coast to coast and houses an extensive state-of-the-art inventory. Our job is to help bring the magic of storytelling to life, by supporting our clients as their go-to Partners in Production.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems related to lighting fixtures and ballasts to determine the source of the issue and take corrective action to repair the problem.
- Process equipment in a safe and efficient manner to meet manufacturer’s specifications.
- Perform minor repairs to miscellaneous lighting equipment and associated accessories as required.
- Assist in the maintenance/repairs of grip equipment, cable, distribution and stands etc.
- Assess active-equipment inventory levels and react in accordance to the needs of the Lighting & Grip Department, LES Department and Specialty Department.
- Advise management of equipment defects or damage or any customer concerns arising from equipment issues or counts.
- Pull orders, load and unload trucks. All counts to be performed to the highest standard of accuracy.
- Electrical knowledge and experience an asset
- Electronics experience an asset
- Previous experience with lighting equipment repairs would be an asset
- Mechanical knowledge and experience would be considered an asset
- Training provided for company rental & parts inventory software program
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
