We are currently seeking an **Sourcing Analyst** **(Hybrid + 12 Month Fixed-Term)** to join Prospera's team. As our new Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the team with a variety of requirements, a role in utilization of technology, working with business leads to manage sourcing decisions with the objective of cost savings, efficiencies, and simple contract review.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist with the implementation of contract management and strategic sourcing solutions, as required.
- Lead the reconciliation process as systems are interfaced, ensuring completeness and accuracy (existing contract mgmt. system with accounting system) and continue to understand each system.
- Be a resource to help guide business units on real time basis and assist with issues within the contracts management system.
- Create reports/pull data as needed from existing systems.
- Work closely with business unit leads to understand sourcing requirements and proactively manage contract renewals, with an objective to achieve cost efficiency (with current or new vendors).
- Work with business units to complete required performance evaluation reviews based on risk level.
- Assist with RFPs and other projects, including vendor negotiations, and the establishment of master service agreements.
- Develop and maintain purchasing contacts in the system that will be the source of record.
- Ensure contracts have specific language and reviews completed around potential vendor risks based on risk levels.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with all business units while promoting a service-oriented approach in providing services to external and internal customers.

**What you bring**:

- 5-7 years experience in a strategic sourcing/procurement role.
- University degree with a financial aspect or SCMP designation.
- Enrollment in the Supply Management Training Program (SMT) would be an asset if no SCMP designation held.
- Strong ability to create reports/pull data using a variety of computer software from new and existing technology including MS Office.
- Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to utilize negotiation skills when in discussions with vendors and mitigate risks.
- Good understanding of accounting procedures, GL and cost allocation, payables, budget, cheque requisitions, expenses, purchase orders/requisitions etc.
- Understanding and experience of environmental, social and governance (ESG) requirements within a procurement role.
- Demonstrated understanding and use of contract language.
