**Change Manager - Accounts Payable Software**
**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The consultant is expected to start January 2, 2025 and the contract length is 6 months.
**Project Context**
The AP Automation Project will transform the Accounts Payable function at Island Health, shifting from a paper-based, manual processing function that is error prone and not a positive contributor to environmental sustainability to a streamlined and scalable exception handling process providing efficiencies, automated controls, and insights to the authority. The project will implement Accounts Payable software as a service (SaaS) that:
- Digitizes invoice receipts,
- Captures images,
- Performs 3-way invoice matching,
- Drives new, simplified workflows and approvals,
- Increases efficiency,
- Provides visibility and control around purchase order and non
- purchase order invoice processing, and
- Integrates with existing systems.
A vendor partner will be responsible for tailoring and configuring the Basware AP solution, with an internal project team responsible for integrating the software into the broader ISLH eco-system and completing all business transformation activities, including change management, training, communications and the roll-out strategy.
**Service Required**
- In collaboration with key leaders, stakeholder groups, and corporate services, coordinates and facilitates change management processes, in accordance with Island Health's values and leadership accountabilities,
- Develops and implements change management activities in line with the Enterprise Change Management methodology (e.g. developing communication and engagement plans, conduct impact and readiness assessments, create and implement change management strategy),
- In collaboration with program Manager, engages stakeholders through a collaborative approach to planning, implementing and sustaining change initiatives. Works with all key groups (e.g. Island Health community programs, Division of Family Practice, Island Health Corporate Supports, Professional Practice Office, Process Improvement, IMIT, Planning and Community Engagement, etc.), patients, physicians, other providers and other external stakeholders throughout change processes,
- In collaboration with the program Manager, provides change management recommendations, coaching and support for change leaders, staff and others within Island Health clinical programs,
- Fosters and facilitates relationship building, networking, and collective development to advance shared priorities across all stakeholder groups,
- In collaboration with program leadership, supports community development initiatives by focusing on motivating, mobilizing and supporting the people, as well as patient and community engagement initiatives that advance innovative models of care. Advises, consults, and supports Island Health leaders, staff, community groups and other partners on community development approaches to service delivery and program planning, and
- Transition to eventual FTE hire.
**Consultant Qualifications**
- Proven experience leading or supporting change management strategies and IT implementation projects in complex multi-stakeholder environments,
- Self-motivated team player who can build relationships and maintain productivity in a hybrid or remote working environment, and

- Preference given to consultants who meet the following criteria: _
- Specialized change management, stakeholder engagement, agile and/or business analysis training or certification (e.g., PROSCI, IAP2 etc.),
- Previous experience in the areas of financial transformation, and
- Experience or working knowledge with integrating change management with agile project methodology, concepts, activities, and sprint cycles.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: Up to $105.00 per hour
