Meter Administrator

QMC is looking for an energetic, highly motivated and resourceful individual. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service and support to our clients in Ontario and across Canada with a high degree of independence.
**Duties** : A Meter Administrator will:
- Performing daily checks on remotely monitored utility metering systems including preliminary troubleshooting and escalation when necessary
- Setup and support of new projects and maintenance of ongoing projects including communication infrastructure (IP, cellular, modem), backend software, and web-based reports
- Creating and maintaining documentation for new projects including changes to network, billing registers both online and MeterConnex list
- Point of contact for Technicians for support and set up i.e. Aquisuites
- Troubleshooting/configurations of system devices
- Working with various departments such as Billing, Projects & Account Management in relation to enquires related to MeterConnex
- Working closely with Network Administrator troubleshooting various network set up such as PLC
- Complete commissioning review of new sites and additional points
- Creating variance reports as needed based on customer needs.
**Qualifications** **/ Experience**
- College diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Windows and Excel.
- Understanding of IP network architecture (IP addressing, routers, etc).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
- Must be able to work independently and multi-task
