Account Manager

**General Description**:
- Manage and grow a designated set of critical national accounts
- Review and adapt to information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Consult with customers after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Work with the sales team to build on long term relationships
- Implement a plan for growth each year, analyze and monitor progress on accounts
- Be accountable for complete customer processes
- Contributes with helpful, complete, accurate, and timely analysis
- Assist in other day-to-day activities as required
**Work experience requirements**:
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in sales or account management
- Successfully managed large multi-level accounts
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and listening skills
- Skilled in working successfully with a diverse team of people
**Education Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year University or College
- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office product
**Core Competencies**:
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
- Dynamic sales experience with a strong ability to proactively plan account/customer development
- Comfortable with managing multi-million-dollar accounts
- Self-motivated team player capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to analyze data and prepare succinct reports.
- Adept at developing strong partnerships, while maintaining a bottom-line focus
- Excellent problem solving
- Able to work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines - multi-tasking is key
- Aptitude for solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
