The HR Generalist will be reporting to reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will provide hands on support to business leaders as it relates to Human Resources functions. You will collaborate with payroll, marketing and communications and the overall HR department. **What you will do**:

- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders relating to all HR functions
- Advise and support leaders on employee relations options
- Advise leaders and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefits and programs
- Provide support and training on HR annual cycles, such as performance, compensation, engagement
- Support recruitment efforts and processes by working closely with the leaders and recruitment
- Administration of employee movement such as promotions, transfers, leaves of absence
- Initiate exit interview process and identify trends
- Support overall HR projects and initiatives
- Conduct new employee welcome meetings and check in’s

**What you will bring**:

- Human Resources Certificate/Degree or related education
- 2-5 years of experience as a HR Generalist
- Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel and Outook is required
- Working knowledge of Human Resources disciplines, including compensation, employee relations, performance management preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Designation CHRP or CHRL an asset.
