You will be responsible for overseeing all areas of human resources management, providing strategic HR guidance, and ensuring the implementation of best practices across the organization. Additionally, you will serve as a backup for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development.Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and facilitate the recruitment and selection process.Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and compliance topics for employees and managers.Serve as a resource for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.Manage payroll processing and act as a backup for payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.Prepare HR reports and metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in Canada.Experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems is preferred.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is an asset.What we offer:Salary $70,000 to 80,000Profit SharingRSP3 weeks vacationExcellent opportunity for progression
